BriscolaThe Italian card club

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 10, 2026

Briscola is built to need as little about you as possible. Single-player games work entirely on your device and require no account at all. This policy explains the few cases where data does leave your phone.

What we collect

If you only play offline, we collect nothing. No account is created, no identifier is sent, and your games, settings and statistics stay on your device.

If you play online, the app signs you in anonymously with Firebase Authentication. This creates a random identifier that is not linked to your name, email address or phone number. We use it to seat you at a table and to keep your rating.

While an online match is in progress we store the moves played, the seat each player holds, and a heartbeat that tells the table whether you are still connected. When the match ends we keep a record of it: which game, who took part, who won, and the rating change.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location or advertising identifier. The app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

We never see the cards in your hand as anything other than part of the match you are playing, and the computer opponent does not look at them either — every deal is generated from a seed you can verify yourself.

Purchases

Premium is a single purchase handled by Apple or Google. Payment is processed entirely by the store; we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether the purchase was made, which tells us that an anonymous identifier owns Premium and nothing more.

Where data is stored

Online match data and player records are stored with Google Firebase. Google acts as our processor and stores this data on its own infrastructure.

How long we keep it

Matches in progress are removed shortly after they end. Finished match records and player ratings are kept while the account remains active, so that leaderboards and statistics stay meaningful.

Your rights

Because online accounts are anonymous, we cannot identify you from your name or email — but you can ask us to delete the data attached to your player identifier. The app shows this identifier in Settings; send it to us and we will remove the associated records.

Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device. If you never played online, that is all the data that ever existed.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, children included.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, the app and this page will be updated before the change takes effect.
